October 5th was a very busy day in Nashville. The 28th Annual CMA Awards brought to town many special celebrity events and well as a wide variety of media interviews and appearances. The day got off to a great start for Sawyer Brown fans when the band made an appearance on the CBS This Morning Show with host Mark McEwen. Performing live from the Ryman Auditorium they sang Cafe On The Corner.
New Single: This Time
Note: The first single from Greatest Hits 1990-1995 is scheduled to release to radio and T.V. on November 7th. We would like to finish 1994 with a bang! So don't forget to call your local radio station and tell them that you want to hear This Time, the "hot" new single from Sawyer Brown. The album will be avaiable in early January.
Side Note
The members of Sawyer Brown were recently honored with the presentation of the Ampex Golden Reel Award. Their album Dirt Road was recorded on the company's tape and cerified gold by RIAA. Following the Golden Reel tradition Ampex made a $1,000 charity donation to Dreammakers on behalf of Sawyer brown.
New Video On The Way!
For the second year in a row Mark spent his birthday in front of a camera. It was this time last year when the guys were outstanding in their field...filming a video Outskirts Of Town. This year they were once again joined in Nashville by their director, Mike Saloman, for the filming of their new video This Time. Shooting took place over a two day period and features a humorous look at relationships. The video is expected to appear on CMT the week of November 7th. The single is also scheduled for release to radio that same week. This Time is the first single from the long anticipated release of Sawyer Brown: Greatest Hits 1990-1995. The new CD should be available in stores this coming January.

A Grand New Addition

As most of you know, the Faster & Louder Tour deduted in Nova Scotia, Canada in mid-September. Those of you lucky enough to have already seen a show know that we have added many new and exciting things. One very special addition to the show is the Grand piano shown at left during rehearsal. The white piano is a stunning accent to the dramatic lighting choreography featured during All These Years. |

It's hard to believe, but in less than three weeks Sawyer Brown will end their 1994 touring schedule. They will use this break from the road to spend time with their families and enjoy the holidays. 1994 was a great year! It began last January 13th when Sawyer Brown hit the road. The year comes to an end on November 26th. Faster & Louder ll begins January 11th.
